Strange affairs become stranger with explanation. This one concerns a love-struck adolescent who, immersed in an age of self awareness, discovered that, not only could he play the guitar but he could read and write as well. A series of unlikely circumstances gradually produced this Strange Affair. Al Et Al once amounted to Allan Thompson and a party seven. Subsequently it included a stool to fall off and an itinerant flautist. This sorry situation was suddenly transformed during the four days it took to make this record when the group was drawn together.

A fifteen year story is told.
